14 Days Holiday

The Jhamtse Gatsal students are going to their half-year examinations.  The examination started on the 3rd and will go to the 8th of this month.  On the 10th to 24th of this month the children will go on holiday to their village.  Most of the staff will also visit other places to help keep their mind fresh.

Jhamtse Gatsal, Tibetan for “Garden of Love and Compassion”, is a children’s community located in the Indian foothills of the Himalayas. Opened in 2006, it is currently school and home for 74 children from disadvantaged family situations in the nearby villages.
